3 Sustainable Design Solutions for Your Office

The Three-storey pavilion in Almere, designed by DP6 Architectuurstudio, is a prime example of designing with natural materials, as 95% of the building is made from them. According to Schoof (2023), it is comprised of cubic wooden modules, held together by 800 steel modules made from recyclable material. A variety of recyclable materials, like flax, straw, pepper-stalk-based synthetic materials, mycelium acoustic panels, and cellulose sourced from grass, were also utilized for the wall coverings. The building is being repurposed as an office space and conference center.
